We did it. We survived an earthquake, we survived shooting in the cold, late at night, in the streets of Sheffield. It was a lot of fun; the film director in me has learnt another thing or two and made crucial contacts; the actor in me has honed his skills, made crucial contacts and will hopefully get a fair share of exposure in film festivals. |

The script is a bit rough on the edges but I put it down to the fact English is not Hsiang's first (probably not even second) language. And you can sense she's kept the number of spoken lines to a strict minimum. And I like that. I've always believed film was a visual art anyway, more than anything else. So what was important to me was the storyline, and it needn't be outlined with Shakespearean verses... And I liked the plot. |

While I was on tour with Romeo In The City, I met Poom in Sheffield. Poom is the producer on Love Love Love, a film by Hsiang-Heng Kung. We'd met to discuss my possible involvement in the film. Unfortunately Hsiang couldn't make it at the meeting, and although she and Poom came to see the show that evening, I still hadn't met her till today. |

I had a meeting with a young producer from Thailand, who's doing film studies at the University of Sheffield. He'd found my details on Casting Call Pro and contacted me concerning the film he's producing. They will be holding auditions in London in two weeks time (when we're in Manchester) but I suggested we meet now while I'm in Sheffield. |
